In 1972, the pioneering spirit and innovative family Andrade de Carvalho - who since 1929 headed the House Banking Andrade Arnaud - invested in a new segment in Brazil by acquiring participation in the National Assembly of Brasilia, the second shopping center built in the country, first in the Midwest.

The success story continued with the opening of two new markets: Recife and Porto Alegre.
