A story of challenges, achievements and successes

In 1972, the pioneering spirit and innovative family Andrade de Carvalho - who since 1929 headed the House Banking Andrade Arnaud - invested in a new segment in Brazil by acquiring participation in the National Assembly of Brasilia, the second shopping center built in the country, first in the Midwest.
The success story continued with the opening of two new markets: Recife and Porto Alegre. In these two cities ANCAR IVANHOE built the first shopping malls in the Northeast and South, Iguatemi Shopping Center Recife and Porto Alegre. Since then, ANCAR IVANHOE to grow and grow and pioneer markets. In 2008, the company opened the first shopping the state of Rondonia, Porto Velho Shopping in the capital of Rondonia.
